About Steve Greene

Experienced Custom Builder

Steve Greene has more than 25 years of experience building custom residential and light commercial projects in the Athens area.

From 1994 until 2004 Steve was a partner in Greene & Johnson, LLC, the custom home builders that built the 2004 Southern Living™ Idea House at the Georgia Club in Statham Georgia.

Volunteer

Steve feels fortunate to have been able to contribute both time and resources to volunteer projects such as Habitat for Humanity and the Athens Nurses Clinic.

Member

He served as President of the Athens Area Builders Association in 1990-1991.

Steve Greene was selected as a member of the Southern Living Custom Home Builder Program in 2002 and has served as a member of the Southern Living Home Builder Program Board of Directors since 2004. He has completed 2 Southern Living Program Homes and one Southern Living Idea House.
